Adult Choir - Traditional

Do you like to sing?

We are blessed here at St. Cornelius with vibrant and faith filled celebrations of Mass.

Our Saint Cornelius Adult Choir is composed of twenty-four members who volunteer their time, talent, and energy to serve the people of St. Cornelius Parish through the ministry of song.

We are looking for new members. We're not looking for professional, but really amateur singers. Remember that the word amateur means "one who does it for love."

Cantors

The ministry of Cantor and Leader of Song is an important role in our Eucharistic worship. The cantor proclaims the Psalm to us and leads us in the Acclamations & songs of the sacred liturgy.

If you wish to be a cantor, Margie Melchiore will be holding periodic rehearsals with all those who wish to fulfill this ministry.

Membership Requirements

  1. Attendance at rehearsal each Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM in the Church.
  2. Attendance at the 9:00 am Liturgy each Sunday morning.
  3. Willingness to sing for other special parish celebrations.

Make a Joyful Sound

If you play a musical instrument; piano, flute, trumpet, strings, and would like to give God praise and thanks with your gift of music; we're looking for instrumentalists to enhance our Sunday worship.

If you sing or play an instrument, and would like to play for our Masses, please call Margie Melchiore at (610) 361-0143.
