Priests of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia are celebrating 25th, 50th and other significant anniversaries of their ordination to the priesthood this year. See our list of 29 priests and bishops. Also see a photo gallery of the annual priests’ alumni Mass celebrated recently at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary.
In addition, two new priests will be ordained this Saturday, May 15 in the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul, and everyone is invited to participate prayerfully from home through the livestreamed liturgy beginning at 10 a.m. here.
Later that day CatholicPhilly.com will post the assignments for the newly ordained priests, Father Kenneth Cavara and Father Mark Tobin. Get to know Father Cavara through our recent Profile story and 2019 podcast, plus Father Tobin’s story and podcast.
